Since then we have pretty much seen it all, from mobbed-up bucket shops to Ponzi schemes like Bernie Madoff. From Stratton Oakmont to Lehman Brothers. From Prudential limited partnerships to Enron.
We have worked with hundreds of securities attorneys and helped recover countless millions for defrauded investors across the country.
In all this time we have only represented investors. We are 100% pro-investor. We will never work for Wall Street.
Over the years we developed proprietary, custom-written software using the latest technologies and programming languages, and now AI and machine learning. We have applied it to every part of securities litigation: account analysis, arbitrator research, PDF processing, data visualization, discovery, and investor intake.
Not even Wall Street can match our level of custom programming for this industry. We took our litigation tools and expanded them into broader services, always with the same mission: bring accountability to the markets and put money back in the hands of investors who were wronged.

Thomas Benson founded The Diogenes Group in 1993 with a singular focus: use technology to level the playing field between retail investors and the brokerage industry. With over thirty years in securities litigation support, he has built some of the most advanced analysis tools in the industry, and has never once worked for the defense side.

Founded

Launched the first online securities litigation analysis platform. Expanded to serve attorneys nationwide with cloud-based tools.

PDF revolution
Built proprietary PDF processing that converts brokerage statements at 30 to 40 pages per second. Days of data entry became seconds.
